A Winning Combination – Part II

A while ago I bragged about a beautiful combination I came up with to add some colour and warmth to a very bland space. Well, here are the results after the wallpaper was hung:

Vivid - Green, wallpaper for home interior

Vivid Green & Rich Brown Wallpaper

Nice, eh?

The feature wall is bordered by the windows and enclosed in a smaller space like this makes it look like a large artwork.

I love it. What do you think? Is it a winning combination?

A Winning Combination

I had a great time last weekend working with a client who wanted something to lift her living area in her new house. She has a beautiful, spacious house with lots of natural light. They have a light beige couch with sandy tones and similar coloured walls. They thought it would look fine but now that they are living in the space, they’ve decided they need to add some colour as the space is quite bland. Wallpaper is the perfect solution for them.

After spending some time looking through our wallpaper sample books (and finding so many designs she loved), we came up with the following combination:

Vivid Green - wallpaper

Vivid Green - wallpaper $AUD385.00

This ‘Vivid – Green‘ design will be the main feature wall behind their couch. That same wall has two long, narrow windows. We won’t hang the wallpaper around the windows, but just in the centre behind the couch so the windows will frame it. I think it will look great.

The adjacent wall will feature a Rough – Warm Brown design:

Rough - Warm Brown

The opposite side of the living area is the kitchen and meals area which features dark timber cupboards and a green splashback and a chocolate brown dining table with bench seats.

I’ll post pics once the wallpaper has been hung.

PS Did you notice that the green wallpaper design above is the same as the red and white design in the post ‘No Florals, Thanks!’? They are both stunning.
